SG Race! They will be racing against Vermont’s fastest J3’s at Stowe on Friday 2/12.
Saturday (2/13) is the SL Race at Magic Mt. This is our last regular season SVC race,
so we hope to see you at Magic!
This Thursday (2/4) is the SG Training Day at Stratton and it is recommended but not required. This Friday
(2/5) is the SG race at Stratton.
Saturday night (2/6) is the SL race at Willard, so plan on SL training Saturday morning.
Saturday afternoon is travel to Willard (no training at Bromley).
Sunday training will start at 9:30AM (1 hour later); we will be training SL.
The videos from the GS Race at Mt. Snow are on the J3 Blog.
Saturday will be GS training to prepare for the GS race at Mt. Snow on Sunday.
Please dress appropriately as the forecast is for colder weather!
Looking ahead to next week we have our SG training day at Stratton on Thursday (2/4)
and the SG race on Friday (2/5). This is our only “speed event” this season, and a full
length SG run on Upper Standard at Stratton is quite a thrill. We hope you can join us
for the two days! And then on Saturday night (2/6) is the SL race at Willard (after 3
races in 1 week you deserve some homemade donuts)!
Please see the updated J3 Blog and the J3 Share Site with new photos and event calendar!
Quick update for J3’s. We have limited space tomorrow with races
on East Meadow and Peril. J3’s are schedule to free ski in the
am and stubbie slalom in the afternoon. If Master’s get done
early, J3’s may train on East Meadow with a little later start for
the afternoon session. Maybe 1:00 – 3:00 instead of
12:00 – 2:30. Please be flexible tomorrow. Also, if possible,
please bring SL and GS skis both days.
The schedule for Sunday is GS training in the am and
free-skiing/drills in the afternoon.
J3’s will not be going to Magic tomorrow, 1/17/2010… We were going to train at Magic on Hokus Pokus but snow cover is thin… We have decided to stay at Bromley and train GS first thing in the a.m. on East Meadow.
Check out the new J3 Blog and the J3 Share Site for race photo sequences.
J3’s will be in a GS training block for the weekend and racing GS at Stratton on
Monday, January 18th.
Weekend schedule:
Saturday, GS drills, free-skiing…
Sunday, GS training at Magic in the AM (more details announced Saturday)
While this is tentative, training in Hokus Pokus would give a good simulation for
Stratton. Also, we are expecting a busy weekend here at Bromley and training will
limited. Athlete ticket prices are $25 and training will start @ 8:30 am. We will
announce more details at Saturday’s training session here at Bromley
Monday, SVC GS race at Stratton. click below for details:
