Name: Laura Mullen

Tell us about yourself:
I have been married to Tim Mullen (coach) for 38 years. We have a 19 year old daughter, Lila. I started skiing at the age of 19. So since I did not grow up skiing I feel that I bring a different perspective when it comes to coaching. I was fortunate to spend many years summer skiing at Mt. Hood, working with many talented and experienced coaches has given me a unique opportunity to incorporate this knowledge into my skiing and my ability to coach others.
What Excites you most about coaching at the BOC?
The thing that excites me the most about coaching is watching young skiers progress. It is a genuine thrill to see young skiers tipping their skis over and carving a turn.
What is your favorite trail at Bromley?
My favorite trail at Bromley is Yodeler.
What do you like to do in the off season?
In the off season I spend time riding my bicycle and hanging out with my family.
What makes the BOC such a special program?
The thing I like most about BOC is it is a family based feeling. Many athletes have passed through our program and it is great to see them on the hill as well around town.
Looking forward to a great season!
