Head Coach: Sue Kramer

The U16, U18, and U21 levels emphasize continued improvement of ski racing techniques in slalom, giant slalom and super G. Athletes in this level may race on both USSA and FIS levels depending on their level of achievement and in this case, their point profile.  Another aspect of this level is the focus on off- hill training, both in the off-season and in-season.

Athletes at this level are reaching the peak of their development, and in such, should have an understanding of the ins and outs of their sport.  At this age athletes, as mentioned above are focusing on all disciplines in the sport.  In such, goals are a key component to the success that the athlete wants to achieve.  Coaches help build and facilitate each individual’s goals; making sure they are achievable.  Athletes should also understand the rules and regulations adjacent to the sport; they should follow the link below to the SVC Rules and Regulations.  If questions arise seek out your coaches for clarification.

Although this is the top level of development in alpine racing and focus is based on how much success one can achieve; the club per its mission always emphasizes the love for winter sport and the fun one can have.
