Hello BOC families!
We had a FANTASTIC first weekend back to training! Everyone was thrilled to see each other and get back to work. Coaches set multiple courses for different skill sets. Lift lines were short due to the cold temps and athletes were able to continually loop. Check in, TeamSnap registration and the health check all worked swimmingly. We are looking forward to doing it again this coming weekend!!
Now that we are back at it we are going to kick it up a notch! The stars have aligned again and we are now able to offer some group skiing after training. Starting next weekend and through the rest of the season (including the holiday) we will be cleared to do the following….
8:30 – 10:30 – Gates on East Meadow
10:30 – 11:00 – Break (course break down & restroom)
11:00 – 12:00 – Group Skiing – Groups of 6 or less

SVC & VARA Races
At this time, racing is limited to U16’s and older. Please visit www.VARA.org for information. The schedule can be found on the right side under – VARA Schedule 1.22.21
There are some events for younger athletes at Willard in NY, although the VT cross state travel guidelines do apply. If you are a VT based athlete and you choose to cross over to NY to race you will need to quarantine prior to joining us to train. I will keep you updated as the race season unfolds but please reach out if you have any questions about the current status of events.
In response to questions about private coaching, the BOC would like to issue the following statement.
The BOC does not oversee coaches during their own private time, but we are mindful of the fact that whenever coaches and/or athletes are on the hill wearing BOC apparel they are viewed as representatives of the club and we expect that all coaches and athletes abide by the current guidelines put in place by the State of Vermont, the ACCD and Bromley Mountain. Therefore, we recommend that coaches ski in groups of 6 or less which is consistent with the policy that Bromley is currently following with their own private lessons.
